When I first started my business, I had a clear-cut plan.

1. Grow a wildly successful photography business.

2. Have all the free time in the world to be with my family.

3. Bask in the fact that not only can I buy all the cappuccinos I can drink, I also have the time and freedom to [actually drink them, travel, love on my kids, etc]

Let’s just say I got a reality check pretty early on. It’s HARD to wear all the hats, and there are aspects to running a business I never even thought of.

Deciding how to respond to negative feedback? Not that fun.

Figuring out how much to charge for doing something that I love? Harder than I thought.
