About

HEY! I’M MEGAN!

In a nutshell, I’m a Southern Alberta girl living out her acreage life dreams.

As a kid, I always wanted to live on an acreage and have animals of all kinds! I am slowly working on that, we have cats (my favorite animal) and maybe goats one day...

I moved out of Nobleford in 2020 with my husband, boys, and a chance for a new beginning. It is country life that re-ignited my love for photography.

I am inspired by love, nature, and the beauty of relationships – and years from now I want you to remember how you’re wedding day or family session FELT through your images.

MY MISSION:

To document your session with authenticity and documentary-style shooting – infused with artistry and the beauty of southern Alberta.

THE STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME

Look – if I’m going to be spending one of the most important days of your life with you, it’s probably good you know a few things about me!

Here’s the thing: I’m going to be there during all the moments of laughter and tears and I’m gonna see the unfiltered crazy that is your wedding day. And it’s going to be awesome.

So let’s get right to it and be friends, K?

I grew up in small-town, Nobleford. I’m a Southern Alberta girl at heart that loves bonfires, oversized sweaters, and all things about summer.

My husband and I met in high school. I always knew he was the man I was supposed to marry.  We got married in 2007 and had 2 boys who are teenagers now!

I’m an avid watcher of anything DIY, Real Housewives, 90 Day, or anything on SLICE or DIY really.

I can have an entire conversation using only GIFs. Seriously. I welcome the challenge.

I also recently graduated from Medical Transcription and work remotely as a scribe for a Doctor in the United States.

Also, I’m a former Unit Clerk. Funny story, I use to hate hospitals and everything about them until I started working in the healthcare field.

You’ve probably already noticed – but I’m a mom too! My first son, Riley was born in 2007, and my second son, Connor was born in 2009. Being their mama is probably the coolest thing I’ll ever do!

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of Canada and am currently serving as the Communication Chair for the Alberta South Region. This is a diverse group of creative artists dedicated to the highest standards in professional imaging.  My work has been judged by these professionals and I am excited to say I am accredited in Child and Infant Portrait and Child Study. My image "Bleeding Heart" won Best In Class Pictoral/Floral in the PPOC Alberta 2018 Image Competition!
